that post saying “stop being so desperate to be in love and just live” is tea though ! not to be that girl but it seems like there’s so much pressure put on everybody to engage in romantic experiences and fall in love as fast as possible when there’s so much more to life than that. so people end up feeling miserable and embarrassed of the fact that they’re single when that’s literally nothing to be embarrassed about.
the desperate need to seek romantic attention for validation is corrosive and damaging. the idea that romantic love can somehow fix you or make all of your problems go away is false. love is work just like everything else. i hate this weird idea that being alone is bad, because the reality is that it’s unhealthy to be completely unable to exist in solitude for any duration of time without feeling absolutely miserable about it.
she was right and she should say it. stop being so desperate to find love and just live your life. stop trying to find yourself through romantic experiences and attention from other people. there’s no time limit on finding somebody who will love you. it isn’t a requirement to be successful or happy. just be.
i personally believe that us american are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation dont have maps and uh i believe that our education like such as in south africa and the iraq everywhere like such as and i believe that they should, our education over here in the us should help the us or uh should help south africa and should help the iraq and the asian countries so we will be able to build up our future for our children
